If you own a Kress multi-tool, you’ll know how versatile it is—swap attachments and tackle different jobs fast. Here’s how to change heads in just a few steps.
Step-by-step
1) Undo the butterfly screw
Loosen the butterfly screw on the multi-tool head.
2) Push the release button
Find the button on the side of the head and push it in to release the lock.
3) Slide the attachment out
While holding the button, slide the current attachment out. If it feels tight, a gentle wiggle can help.
4) Fit the new attachment
Take the next tool (for example, a hedge trimmer) and slide it into place until it locks.
Tip: align the drive shaft
You may need a small wiggle so the drive shaft lines up inside.
5) Tighten and you’re ready
Tighten the butterfly screw. Your hedge trimmer (or other attachment) is now fitted—ready to get going.
